Theater Returns to J.F. Webb High School!
For the first time in nearly fifteen years, students at J.F. Webb High School will be treading the boards and putting on a public theater production. Celene McSwaine (Charlie Brown), Carly McGhee (Lucy), Kendall Blevins (Schroeder), Julie Gates (Linus), Na’Sia Foster (Sally) and Madalynn Long (Snoopy) star in the classic theater comedy You’re A Good Man, Charlie Brown! under the direction of English teachers Carole Griffin and Amanda Baker. The show is filled with goofy good humor, silly songs, and wonderful lessons about life, love, and friendship.
This production has been made possible with grants from The Granville Education Foundation, donations of set pieces and props from The Colonial Theater in South Hill, and the hard work and dedication of teachers, students, and parents from J.F. Webb High School.
The curtain rises at 7 p.m., Friday, March 3rd, at the Northern Granville Middle School auditorium. Tickets are $10 and can be purchased from the main office of J.F. Webb or on the school’s website https://jfwh.gcs.k12.nc.us/athletics/buy-tickets-here .
If you’d like to volunteer to help, please contact Technical Director Amanda Baker at bakera@gcs.k12.nc.us. If you’d like to help keep theater alive, donations can be made to the care of J.F. Webb High School, Theater Program.
